from chat to cards
Connect Saku to Claude or ChatGPT
Saku runs an MCP server, so an AI assistant can work directly on your library. Explain a topic to Claude, then ask it to turn the explanation into cards. They land in your app, already scheduled, before you close the tab.
Premium feature
Connector URL
https://api.saku.cards/mcp
That address is a server endpoint, not a web page. Opening it in a browser shows a short explainer, nothing more. Paste it into your assistant instead.
What your assistant can do
- Create cards from any conversation. Basic or cloze, with notes, images and audio. It previews them first, so you approve before anything is saved.
- Organise your library. Create topics and decks, move cards, merge duplicates, rename and retag in bulk.
- Search and edit. Find the card you half remember and fix it in place.
- Report on your progress. Due counts, per-topic stats and insights, so you can ask what to study next and get a real answer.
- Follow your house style. Guides you write in Saku are sent to the assistant, so cards come back shaped the way you like them.
Set it up
Claude
- 1Open Settings, then Connectors.
- 2Add a custom connector and paste the URL above.
- 3Sign in with your Saku account when the browser opens.
ChatGPT
- 1Turn on Developer mode in settings.
- 2Under Connectors, add a new one and paste the URL above.
- 3Sign in with your Saku account to authorise it.
Authorisation is scoped to your account. Your assistant sees only your library, and you can revoke access from the connector settings at any time.
Try asking
