your data, your call
Delete your Saku account
You can erase your Saku account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
In the app
- 1Open Saku and go to Settings.
- 2Tap Account.
- 3Tap Delete account and confirm.
The full path is Settings, then Account, then Delete account. The app asks you to confirm once, then the deletion runs.
By email
Email hello@tinytoaststudio.com from the address on the account. We verify that it matches, then delete the account for you. Requests from a different address cannot be actioned, because we have no way to confirm they are yours.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details, including the email address on it.
- Every card, deck and topic you created, and their notes and tags.
- Your full review history and the scheduling data built from it.
- Images you uploaded and voice recordings you made.
- Your usage records for AI, audio and image requests.
What is not deleted
- Your subscription. Premium is billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. Cancel it in your store subscription settings before or after deleting the account, otherwise it keeps renewing.
- Cached audio for card text. Generated speech is held in a shared, de-identified cache keyed by the text itself. It carries no link to you or your account.
- Records we are required to keep. Anything law obliges us to retain, for as long as it obliges us.
How long it takes
Deletion happens immediately. Your account and content are removed from our live systems as soon as the request is confirmed, and the data cannot be restored afterwards. Copies held in routine encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
Before you go
Deletion is permanent and there is no undo. If you only want to stop syncing, sign out instead. Saku keeps studying offline.
